Sailing yacht Carpe Diem IV is a 47m beautiful vessel built to the highest standard and launched in 2011. Carpe Diem IV boasts a wooden hull and superstructure with aluminim masts and is the largest wooden yacht built to date in Turkey. Carpe Diem IV is run by a professional and experienced crew of 7 who will make you experience wonderful cruises along the beautiful southern Turkish coast or in the surrounding islands.
Her interiors made of Mahogany with marble bathrooms and luxury upholstery include an interior saloon and dining room, 2 large master bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and 2 twins cabins, each with SAT TV, iPod station and en-suite bathroom. The aft master cabin is fitted with large Windows on the aft while the forward master cabin includes a sauna. On the outside, the aft deck is set with an outside dining, bar and sunbeds area, while the large forward deck offers confortable sunbathing areas. A Sonos sound system inside and outside with a music library and multiple water toys are available to entertain you during your stay on board Carpe Diem IV.

Native from Bodrum, holding a Yacht master 500 license and IMO Master over 3000grt unlimited, Umit has been captain on board luxury charter and private sailing and motor yachts above 30m for the last 20 years. Previously Captain on M/Y Elvan G, S/Y Leviathan and M/S Papa Joe, he also has been the winner of the Bodrum Cup as Captain of Grandi 1. Fluent in English and Dutch, Umit joined Carpe Diem IV in Autumn 2015 to manage the winter maintenance and get the crew prepared for the 2016 season and brings an extensive knowledge sailing in Croatia, the Greek islands and Turkey.

Previously chief engineer on the 47m schooner Zenith, 44m Benetti Dia's and 37m trawler Lady Jade, Yavuz brings experience of 10 years at sea on board luxury private or charter western yachts and an extensive knowledge in engineering. Yavuz who speaks good English is taking a new challenge in joining Carpe Diem as 1st officer where he will also assist the crew for the guests service and water sports entertaining.
